ROBERT POWELL

 

Praised by Simon Groom, Director of Modern and Contemporary Art at the National Galleries of Scotland, as an artist of ‘singular vision’, Robert Powell has exhibited widely both in the UK and abroad. He works across a range of media, including painting, printmaking, sculpture, moving image and installation, and his publications include Shadow Bestiary (2008), Macpherson’s Cave and Praise of Folly (both 2011). Powell’s most recent exhibition was A Universal History of Iniquity, at Engramme in Quebec City, March 2014.

 

 

HADI MEHRPOUYA

 

Hadi Mehrpouya is an Iranian born computer programmer, software engineer and artist who is currently employed by the University of Edinburgh undertaking research into 3D virtual environments. Mehrpouya’s particular research interests are in the fields of Psychology, ICT, Data Visualisation and the Arts. His collaborative data visualistaion of the British Library Reading Rooms was awarded ‘Best Demo of the Year 2013’ at the EVA Conference, London.
